About Me

I'm a mother of 3 funny kids, a wife of 1 hard working husband, a pet-mommy of a yorkie/shi tzu mix named
Oscar and the neighborhood mom! With all that going on, I decided to open an online store! Temporary insanity
you say? Perhaps at the time but now it has become an obsession!

It all started with my Abuela, (Grandma). She has always been a creative person. Her and my Abuelo use to
own a ceramic studio where they taught pottery classes. I would tag along and watch as they taught. Then I
would watch them fire up the kiln. I loved it. I was probably 4 years old at the time.

I think one of my fondest memories was sitting on the front porch of my Abuela's second floor apartment while
she taught me how to crochet. They live by the beach in Puerto Rico. Just sitting there in the evening, crocheting
with Abuela while the evening breeze was blowing was such a treat! Visiting my grandparents was always a
wonderful experience because I knew that I'd always be doing something creative. My Abuela had a way of
make every day very special. Whether it was watching her cook, sew or make other crafts I always had a great
time.

I now create handmade accessories in my home studio. I am obsessed with new ideas that incorporate function
and style. My best ideas come to me late at night when I should be sleeping! My items go through a rigorous
"testing" phase as I create products for me first and use it for some time before mass producing them. I use it
and most of the time, abuse it in real life situations! It wouldn't make sense to create something that is functionally
useless and just pretty to look at. I want to offer more to my customers.
